CSV keeps the transaction table portable.

The CSV contains statement number, date, description, signed amount, debit, credit, balance, currency and source page columns, plus original fields in a raw-fields column. Combined statement exports add source file and document identifiers so rows can be distinguished.

Use the destination’s import preview to map the fields. A receiving tool may expect a single signed amount or separate debit and credit columns; check that choice rather than assuming the same sign convention. CSV download does not automatically post the rows.

The export boundary

Approval belongs to a revision.

Save your corrections, then approve exactly what you checked. A later change needs a new approval before export.

XLSX separates transactions from their context.

The Excel workbook has Transactions, Statement and Original Fields worksheets. Transactions holds the reviewed table; Statement holds available metadata such as period and balances; Original Fields preserves extra source labels and values alongside row references.

The workbook is a downloadable file, so opening and editing it in Excel does not update the approved revision inside Fulla. Keep your downloaded original if you need to distinguish later spreadsheet edits from the exported data.

JSON serves the application you control.

Choose approved JSON when a program needs structured statement data. The REST API distinguishes draft results from approved conversion output, so an application can inspect a draft without mistaking it for the final deliverable.

Workspace batch downloads offer CSV and XLSX. The API has its own approved conversion endpoint and supports JSON output; multiple-statement conversion requires an active paid entitlement. Use the documentation for the exact request and response contract.

Need a bank statement file instead of a table?

QuickBooks Online and Xero both import OFX statement files. The same approved revision can be downloaded as OFX, with stable transaction IDs, the statement period and the closing balance included.

Download while the source is still available.

Your statement and everything derived from it are deleted 24 hours after the upload starts. An export does not extend that deadline, and a combined export is limited by the earliest deadline among its statements. Allow time for both source review and checking the downloaded file.
