Xero
Import a bank statement into Xero, even when you only have the PDF.
Fill a gap in the bank feed or catch up on old months: convert the PDF statement, check each row beside its source page, and import the OFX file into the right Xero bank account.
No account needed for your first page. A free workspace adds 5 pages every 24 hours, no card required.
How it works
Convert and check the PDF
Upload the statement, review the drafted rows against the source page, correct anything that differs, and approve.
Download OFX
Choose Download OFX on the review page, or Combined OFX for several statements from the same account.
Import the statement in Xero
Open the bank account in Xero, import a statement, choose the .ofx file, and check the imported lines before reconciling.
Watch the walkthrough.
Approve a reviewed bank statement in Fulla Ledger, download one OFX file, see what it contains, then import it into QuickBooks Online through Upload from file or into Xero through Import a Statement. Shown with a fictional sample statement.
An OFX file Xero can import.
Xero imports bank statement files in OFX, QFX, QBO, QIF and CSV formats. Fulla’s OFX carries the date, signed amount, payee, memo and a stable transaction ID for each approved row, plus the statement period and closing balance, so you do not have to map spreadsheet columns.
Prefer CSV? The same approved revision is available as CSV and XLSX for Xero’s CSV template or your own working papers.
Reconcile with fewer surprises.
A missed row or a flipped sign in the import shows up later as a reconciliation difference. In Fulla, every row links back to its source page, and you can compare the opening balance, movement and closing balance before you approve, so the file you import matches the statement.
Batches of PDFs for one account combine into a single OFX in date order. Statements from different accounts are kept apart and Fulla tells you why.
Good to know before you import.
Fulla creates the file and Xero does the import, matching and coding; there is no direct sync between the two. Your statement and the files made from it are deleted 24 hours after the upload starts, so download the OFX once you approve.

Try it on your own statement.
Convert one page free with no account, then check every row against its source page before you download.
Files you can inspect
Check the handoff before accepting transactions.
Use the fictional OFX and CSV to inspect the fields your import needs. Verify account, currency, signed movement and duplicates in a separate test account. These downloads are export examples, not a completed Xero import test.
