Source and evidence
One row. Its evidence.
A plausible table can still contain a wrong sign. Check the original before changing the draft.

A balance comparison is only meaningful when you know which account and period the rows describe. Check the first and last transaction dates, page breaks and continuation lines. Missing or overlapping pages can make an otherwise plausible table incomplete.
Where the statement supplies balances, compare opening balance, signed transaction movement and closing balance. Running balances can help locate the point where a sequence diverges. Where balances are absent, inspect row coverage and amounts without assuming that a full balance tie-out was possible.
Make corrections with a source to support them.
Use the linked statement page when a description, sign or decimal looks wrong. Review can save field edits and row insertions, deletions, splits and merges. A row should change because the source supports the correction, not because a different number would make a total agree.
After correcting a row, inspect the sequence again. Offsetting mistakes can leave a closing total unchanged, so a passing balance check does not remove the need to check individual transactions and page coverage.

A matching total is one check. Coverage, dates and signs still need review.
Keep statement checks separate from the books.
Fulla helps you review the data the bank reported. A separate ledger may include outstanding payments, deposits in transit, different date cutoffs or entries that do not appear on the statement. Investigate those differences against the appropriate external records.
Approving a Fulla revision confirms your review of the extracted statement; it does not certify that an external ledger is reconciled. Export the approved rows and continue any ledger matching or posting in the receiving workflow.
