Workflow comparison

Fulla Ledger vs. a general PDF-to-Excel converter

A choice that fits your work.

Fulla may fit when

  • Every drafted row must be traceable to the page and region that produced it.
  • You want an explicit approval step before exporting the figures.
  • The statement is a scan, a mixed scan and text PDF, or password protected.
  • You want Excel, CSV, OFX and JSON exports from the same approved revision, with API access to the draft for review.

The alternative may fit when

  • The PDF is a clean digital table and you already have a review process.
  • You only need the table structure with no transaction semantics.
  • The chosen tool meets your output and data-handling requirements.

The review decision stays with you.

A draft result is not an approved conversion export. Check source coverage, save corrections and approve the revision you intend to use.

Statements are deleted 24 hours after the upload starts. Save the output you need before then.

Questions about this choice.

Is a PDF-to-Excel converter wrong?

No. A table converter can meet the task when its output and your existing review process are sufficient. Compare the complete workflow, including corrections, retention and cost.

Does Fulla Ledger guarantee accurate extraction?

No. Extraction creates a draft. Deterministic checks score it, and you review and approve the final rows against the source.

Can I still get a plain spreadsheet?

Yes. An approved revision exports as XLSX or CSV, or as OFX for QuickBooks Online and Xero, so the review step does not change where the data ends up.
