Vendor information below comes from sources reviewed on October 8, 2026. Confirm the current edition, terms and capabilities before deciding. Unknown behavior is not a claim that a feature is absent.
| Requirement | Fulla Ledger | MoneyThumb |
|---|---|---|
| Product lines | Hosted web application plus a documented REST API with workspace keys. | Online for QuickBooks, desktop accounting converters, and PDF Insights/Thumbprint for lenders are separate offerings. Match claims to the product being considered. |
| Online entry price and billing unit | Starter: US$30 per month for 400 PDF pages. A five-page statement consumes five pages. | Online for QuickBooks Individual: US$24.95 per month for 5 conversions. Its page defines one conversion as a monthly statement and excludes reconversion of the same file. |
| Primary audience | Bookkeepers, accountants, and developers converting statements into structured rows. | Lenders and finance teams, with one line for underwriting analysis and another for accounting conversion. |
| Beyond extraction | Checks opening, running and closing statement balances. No categorization, fraud scoring or reconciliation against an external accounting ledger. | The lender products analyze financial documents and flag potential fraud. Those features should not be assumed to be included in an accounting-converter license. |
| Output and handoff | CSV, XLSX, OFX and JSON conversion exports use the approved revision. No direct accounting sync or native QBO, QFX or IIF export. | Online for QuickBooks lists a QuickBooks Online handoff and QBO output. Other accounting converters serve spreadsheet, OFX and Quicken workflows; check the edition’s exact formats. |
| Review and approval | Correction, split, merge, undo, statement balance checks, and an explicit approval gate before conversion export. | The accounting page describes reconciliation against statement summary totals and assisted payee cleanup. Evaluate human review and approval behavior in the specific edition. |
| Content lifetime | Sources, rows, review events, and exports are deleted 24 hours after the upload starts. | The cited security page does not give a document-retention duration. Confirm the chosen online or desktop product’s storage, processing and deletion terms. |
| Accuracy comparison | Fulla publishes no comparative accuracy percentage. Check coverage, transaction fields and corrections on a representative sample. | No shared test corpus or head-to-head evaluation was performed for this comparison. Published vendor percentages do not establish which product will handle your statements better. |
| Assurance | Fulla does not publish a SOC 2 report. Assess its documented controls against your requirements. | MoneyThumb’s security page states SOC 2 Type 2 compliance. Request the report and confirm its scope, period and covered product for procurement. |

A choice that fits your work.
Fulla may fit when
- You need a hosted bank-statement review workflow with source evidence and a REST API.
- Rows must be reviewed and approved against their source before export.
- You want statements deleted 24 hours after the upload starts.
- You are converting statements for bookkeeping rather than assessing a borrower.
The alternative may fit when
- You are underwriting a loan and need document analysis and fraud detection, not just extraction.
- You need .QBO or another format Fulla does not export, and the selected MoneyThumb converter supports it.
- A desktop license meets your needs; confirm its operating system and any PDF+ renewal terms.
- You prefer MoneyThumb Online’s accounting workflow and per-statement conversion allowance.

Report an out-of-date comparisonQuestions about this choice.
Which product supports loan-underwriting analysis?
MoneyThumb’s lender line documents financial analysis and potential-fraud signals. Fulla converts bank statements and checks their internal balances; it does not assess borrower creditworthiness or document authenticity.
Can Fulla Ledger export .QBO?
No. Fulla exports approved CSV, XLSX, OFX and JSON files. It does not generate QBO, QFX or IIF files or sync directly with accounting software. MoneyThumb lists QBO output for its QuickBooks converter; confirm compatibility with your receiving edition.
Is MoneyThumb a subscription or a desktop purchase?
It depends on the product. Online for QuickBooks has monthly and annual subscriptions. Desktop options include lifetime licenses, a Pro+ option with one year of PDF+, and a 50-day Express license. Check operating-system support and ongoing PDF+ costs for the chosen edition.
Can I compare a page price with a conversion price?
First count both pages and statements in the same workload. Fulla bills by PDF page, while MoneyThumb Online for QuickBooks describes a conversion as a monthly statement. A multi-page statement therefore uses different units; multiplying both prices by the same number would be misleading.
Does Fulla Ledger store my statements?
Only for 24 hours after upload. Sources, extracted rows, review events, and exports all expire on that schedule, and no public object URL is ever issued.
How was this comparison checked?
Official product, pricing and security pages were reviewed on October 8, 2026. This comparison describes published capabilities; we did not run a shared extraction or accounting-import benchmark. Confirm the exact edition’s current terms and test the workflow you need.
