How to download a Chase bank statement
For a personal Chase account, use Statements & documents and select the account and year. Keep the saved PDF tied to its statement period before using it in a spreadsheet workflow.

Step by step.
Use the personal banking document area
On chase.com, sign in and open the main menu, then Statements & documents. Choose the account and year, and use the statement’s open or save action.
Find the same record in the app
In Chase Mobile, open Profile & Settings, then Statements & documents within Document manager. Select Statements, the account and the year, then open the PDF.
Verify the saved document
Check the account heading, printed period and page count after saving. A successful download does not establish that you selected the right month.
Choose the correct Chase service
Chase publishes different instructions for personal banking, merchant services and commercial platforms. A merchant settlement report describes payment processing; it is not automatically the same record as a checking-account statement. Begin from the account that owns the transactions you are collecting.
If you work with several Chase products, write the document type into your request: for example, “checking statement for the period ending June 30.” That is more precise than “send the Chase report.” It also gives a reviewer a clear reason to reject the wrong attachment.
Search by the period printed on the statement
Chase’s consumer help says statement history can extend to seven years, depending on account type. Select the year and account before deciding a document is missing. For older or unavailable records, use Chase support; do not infer that the visible list is a complete archive for every product.
A statement ending in January can include December activity. After opening it, read the actual start and end dates and record both. If a request covers January 1–31, one file with “January” in its display name may not cover every required day.
Save a useful record of what you collected
Keep the bank-issued PDF unchanged in your authorized records location. Use a descriptive name based on the account’s last few digits and the period, rather than putting a full account number in a file name. Record the download date separately if several copies may circulate.
For a fictional three-month request, list each statement’s start date, end date and pages before converting anything. A missing February period is then visible at collection time. Downloading March twice or renaming March as February cannot fill that gap.
Prepare the next handoff from the original
Open the saved PDF and confirm that the transaction table, continuations and balance summary are legible. If the document is incomplete or the period is wrong, return to the bank source. A clear original is more useful than an image cropped from the account dashboard.
Use the existing PDF-to-Excel or PDF-to-CSV guide when you need editable rows. Fulla’s workflow requires you to review the drafted data beside its source and approve it before export. It does not sign in to Chase, fetch statements for you or establish that an accounting importer has accepted a file.

Questions about this article
Do paperless statements combine all my Chase accounts?
Chase’s consumer help says a statement contains the information for the account listed on it. Check the document heading instead of assuming one download covers every account.
Do I need to change paperless settings to organize an existing PDF?
No. Organizing a PDF you already obtained is separate from changing future delivery preferences. Follow Chase’s account-specific guidance if access or delivery needs changing.
